Primary Function: The Primary focus of the K-Netic Director will be to ensure daily implementation of the program, staffing and to maintain K-Netic member and parent relations. The K-Netic Director will plan all activities for the program and ensure that program staff implement and execute this programming. Job Title: YMCA Summer Child Care Teachers and Assistant Teachers- Boise, West Boise, Meridian, Caldwell

The Y Summer Child Care provides children with a wide variety of academic enrichment activities to help children make new friends, do better in school, enjoy more physical activity, develop new skills, and live with caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Teachers support a child's cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development by facilitating activities such as physical activity, nutrition education, STEM, art & music, character development, social-emotional learning, leadership development, service learning, appreciation of diversity, and play. Starting Wage Range: $9.49 - $13.07, DOE

Key Qualifications: Must be 16+ for an Assistant Teacher position, and 18+ for a Teacher position. Must have or be willing to obtain a Child Care license upon hire. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and experience in developing and implementing daily lesson plans and creating an environment to meet the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of the kids.
