ION now announces our annual Lights on Afterschool Champions as part of National Afterschool Professionals Week. These champions still attend the Power Up Summit in September to be honored in September. This year's Champions were nominated by their peers and selected for their outstanding efforts to help youth and communities during afterschool hours. Since 2000, Lights On Afterschool has been celebrated nationwide to call attention to the importance of afterschool programs for America's children, families and communities.

Our programs make a difference for the youth, families, and communities they serve every day. Afterschool and summer learning programs keep kids safe, inspire them to learn, and help working families.

Join the nationwide celebration! You can still register events held on a different date in honor of Lights On Afterschool. Whether big or small, your events matter! Share them by registering your event.
