PARTNERS FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

ION has received a major grant from the Idaho Workforce Development Council to increase the STEM readiness of Idaho's future workforce through hands-on education.  ION is working towards serving 250 trainees as TMC STEM Ambassadors serving as pre-apprentices in youth programs across the state.and

TMC STEM AMBASSADORS

The TMC Works project connects young learners to STEM activities with the help of young teachers called STEM Ambassadors. Each Ambassador works with an out-of-school time program and has a trained Supervisor helping them learn work-skills and the love of teaching. Each Ambassador and Supervisor receive a stipend for 100 hours of work-placement hours spent with the Think Make Create mobile makerspace lab curriculum.

Thanks to Our Business Partners

TMC Labs are provided free to many youth enrichment programs working in rural and underserved areas of Idaho because of the generosity of our business partners.

THANK YOU TO THESE IDAHO PARTNERS & SPONSORS:
