TMC Works empowers teens and young adults to explore STEM careers and develop their STEM and workplace skills. This work contributes to stronger out-of-school STEM programing and a more STEM-literate workforce.
TMC Works Project Benefits

- $500 stipend upon completion

STEM Ambassador Resources
STEM Ambassador Training
STEM Ambassadors must complete 10 hours of training. Each participant must create a Learning Academy account, where they log their training.
To enroll in the online training, follow these steps:
- Create a Learning Academy account HERE.
- You will receive an email within 48 hours, when your account is approved.
- Follow the link in the email or navigate to the Learning Academy from THIS page.
- Log into your Learning Academy account.
- Search for “STEM Ambassador Training” or come back to this page and click on the link below.
- Click on “Learn More” button under the “STEM Ambassador Training (TMC Works)” training.
- Click on the “Add to My Courses” button.
- Click on the “Launch” button to open the training.
- Complete Step 1 ASAP to apply for the program.

Participant Tracker
Participating program sites have received a link to a unique participant tracker (spreadsheet) shared with ION. Only use this link for reference or if you don't have access to your unique tracker.
Online User Report
Online user reports are required for all activities led by STEM Ambassadors. They can be submitted monthly or more often.
Paper User Report
We suggest having STEM Ambassadors fill out a paper user report immediately after finishing an activity, then complete an online user report with the information later.
