The Idaho Out-of-School Network (ION) offers dynamic, research-based training sessions and speaking engagements tailored for afterschool programs, school districts, libraries, and youth-serving organizations across Idaho.

CONNECT WITH ION

ION offers one-hour presentations highlighting services, including professional development opportunities, advocacy efforts, statewide quality initiatives, and data collection support. Perfect for staff meetings, advisory councils, or board presentations. Presentations are offered in person or virtually depending on availability. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

ION trainings are more than just presentations – ION offers:

  • Two skilled facilitators per session 
  • Half- or full-day sessions, tailored to your needs 
  • Statewide, on-site delivery
  • Ideal for groups of 20–50 (larger groups may require additional facilitators)

Venue & Tech Setup

To ensure the best learning experience, ION recommends the following: 

Ideal Spaces:

Auditoriums, conference rooms, hotel ballrooms, high school theaters, or afterschool program spaces.
Adults training together in open conference room

Less Ideal (but possible):

Gyms, cafeterias, toddler rooms (please ensure adult seating and adequate AV setup) 
Upclose angle of dodgeball on the gym floor

Please provide: 

  • 30–60 minutes of setup and clean-up time
  • Projector and screen
  • Microphone and speakers
  • Internet access for interactive components
  • Whiteboard or flip chart with markers
  • Extension cord and power strip
  • Power outlets for trainer equipment

Recording Policy

ION loves seeing social media photos and short video clips from programs! 

However, full-length recordings of  presentations is not permitted without written consent. If approved, recordings must be for internal use only. 

Pricing

ION’s fee-for-service training model is designed to be both high-quality and accessible. Pricing depends on session length, number of attendees, and level of customization. 

Typical pricing ranges: 

  • Half-day training (up to 4 hours): $600–$1,200
  • Full-day training (up to 8 hours): $1,200–$2,500

Flexible & Accessible 

ION understands that programs across Idaho operate with different budgets and needs. Programs are welcome to pool resources or coordinate with nearby sites to schedule training sessions. If cost is a barrier, please reach out. ION is committed to working with programs to find a solution.
