Lights On AfterSchool

Let us help you plan and promote a community celebration around your out-of-school program on  the national Lights on AfterSchool Day. In 2022, Lights on Afterschool will be held on October 20th. You can also nominate an afterschool champion. Each year we honor multiple champions throughout the state of Idaho.

Writing a grant or looking for other funding resources? We are happy to provide grant writing tips, point you to useful data, or help revise/edit your grant. Check out our grants and funding page to learn more about opportunities. Also learn more about Round II of the Idaho Community Programs for Youth Award. The funds from this award are delegated by The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and guided through the Idaho Out-of-School Network to cover expenses authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 (CRRSAA) and the American Rescue Act Plan (ARPA).

Program Support/Enrichment/Promotion

Our website is busting at the seams of resources; it is continually growing. Check out our online resources for STEM, Data/Research, Literacy, Fitness, Social and Emotional etc. Have a resource not on our website? Please share and we will get it on there. Make sure your program is searchable in our online directory of out-of-school programs. Even if your program is at capacity, the directory is a great way for your community partners and funders to find you. If your organization is hiring and you would like to get the word out, we will post the information on our Jobs and Volunteer Opportunities page.
